Geotracking is a web-based “fleet management platform” developed solely by GEO Informatics Inc. By combining several technologies such as GIS, GPS, and mobile communication. using a graphical interface to integrate the management of the dynamic traffic information, it gives operators easy access to all information through the platform. This is one of the best management tools in real time vehicle tracking and vehicle dispatch.

The system covers the complete workflow management, from the pre-departure dispatch planning; through to the tracking of loading and offloading feedbacks during delivery, to the final operating analysis reports, the entire process is electronic and automated. GEOTRACKING is a product developed from many years of experience and combines the latest in information technology, and is now available in 15 different languages. Already the company has applied for multi-national patents on six of its innovative technologies. GEOTRACKING supports cross-border management and will meet the needs relating to application in various fields. It will effectively increase the fleet’s operating efficiency, ensure vehicle safety, reduce operating costs, supplement decision support, and raise business competitiveness in the marketplace.

[Ocean freight] CPC Corporation, Taiwan
CPC Corporation Taiwan is the largest petroleum company in Taiwan. The company is often faced with great risks such as severe ocean conditions, mechanical failure of its vessels, and etc. After implementing the vessel monitoring system (VMS) developed by GEO Informatics Inc., operators now have instant access to information on all the vessels such as the latest position, speed and course through the onboard satellite positioning and auto-reply device. The device can also automatically receive noon position reply reports and calculate other voyage data such as estimated time of arrival, etc. The system provides world maps showing day and night zones, satellite cloud maps, historical routes, navigation speed differential displays and other functions for a complete vessel management, which will enhance the safety and control capacity in oil transportation.

[Transport] Formosa Plastics Transport Corporation

Formosa Plastics Group is the largest conglomerate in Taiwan. The delivery of the astronomical amount of raw materials and products produced by the group is handled by the group’s subsidiary company, Formosa Plastics Transport Corporation.

Through the implementation of this system, each vehicle is enabled with a device which automatically transmits coordinates, speed, engine rev and other real time vehicle data back to the control center on a regular basis. After loading, drive of the vehicle will simply press a button to notify the control center of the time. Operators will be able to monitor all vehicle movements through the screens in the control center, and the system will also send out warnings when an incident occurs (such as vehicle over-speeding and over-stay). Instant messages can be sent to a particular vehicle during an urgent dispatch or important notice. After each delivery duty, the system will generate daily duty reports and corresponding route codes based on the actual delivery route, which will then be forwarded to the enterprise MIS as base data for the subsequent calculation of pays and delivery charges.

[Motor vehicle & motorcycle logistics] Sunlit Transportation co. Ltd

Sunlit Transportation is one of the largest motor vehicle and motorcycle transport and logistics companies in Taiwan, providing motor vehicle, motorcycle and components delivery, vehicle management, warehouse management, transport of containers and other services.

To improve overall distribution efficiency and capability of enterprise’s supply chain integration, Sunlit Transportation had been active in putting in place the fleet management platform developed y GEO Informatics Inc., which allowed operating centers from all areas to simultaneously access information such as vehicle’s real time position, staff scheduling, duty supervision and delivery status reports. More operation data can be generated by integrating with the enterprise MIS via electronic data exchange, allowing extensive reduction in manual operating hours and costs.

[Household Delivery Service] T-Join Transportation co. Ltd

T-Join Transportation, one of the leading companies in Taiwan’s transportation industry, has appointed GEO Informatics and its associated firms to develop the “Multi temperature full allocation resource planning and mobile fleet management system”. This system improves fleet flexibility and customer service efficiency simply by allowing real time delivery and collection data to be sent back to the office through the use of a hand-held pc and vehicle satellite-positioning. The development in new methods, breakthrough technology and integrated management approach has certainly provided fleet operators with a most useful tool for operation analysis, operational capability simulation and decision support.
